Delivery and Installation
Delivery
At present we will deliver and install all RainRooms. Charges for this service are in addition to the cost of the structure and will vary depending on distance and circumstances.
Delivery date will be advised at the time of ordering, but this will be given in good faith and cannot be guaranteed.
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide adequate delivery access and instructions, and to advise us in advance of any access issues such as narrow lanes, narrow roads, bends, driveways etc which may impede our vehicle.
Access to the installation site should be of sufficient width and height and have no severe turns which may prevent sections of the structure being carried to the site.
The proposed site must have clearance of at least 30 cm (one foot) on all sides to ensure installation can be completed.
Installation
We offer two options for installation:
Fixing to concrete: The Posts are fitted to an existing concrete slab or pads using specially designed fixing shoes which are bolted into the concrete. Please note: it is the responsibility of the purchaser to make sure they have a suitably level and deep concrete surface (we would recommend no less than 150mm / 6” of concrete) onto which we can install your RainRoom.
Installing into the ground: Longer posts are buried in holes and secured with concrete to give the firmest foundation. Please note: it is the responsibility of the purchaser to make sure they have a suitably level area of ground which is also suitable for digging post holes.
Delivery and Installation Prices
We aim to keep our prices for delivery and installation as reasonable as we can. They will vary depending on location and the type of installation you require.
If you require your RainRoom to be fitted to an existing concrete or paving base, this will incur an additional charge depending on your choice of post shoe.
